I played the Scottish Highland bagpipes this evening for a wedding rehearsal dinner at the Orchard Restaurant in Cle Elum, Washington.

On the Scottish Highland Bagpipes, I played a set consisting of:
Scotland the Brave / The Mallow Men March (4/4 marches)
Farewell to the Tay / The Atholl Highlanders (jigs)
The Wearin' o' the Green / The Rakes of Mallow (quick marches)

I then switched to Scottish Smallpipes for a set consisting of:
Guiness Rambles / The Mill The Mill O' / Bonnie Lass of Fyvie (4/4 marches)
Drops of Brandy / The Foxhunters Jig (slip jigs)
Lord Lovat's March / Loch Ruan (4/4 marches)

At the conclusion of the Fireman's Last Rings ceremony, I played Amazing Grace.

Veterans Day Ceremony

I played the Scottish Highland bagpipes this morning for a Veteran's Day ceremony at Tri-City Adventist School in Pasco, Washington.

Amazing Grace was played at the end of the indoor program.

The Mallow Men March, Scotland The Brave, and Lord Lovat's March were played to lead everyone outside to raise the flag of the United States of America.

It was a pleasure to play for the veterans and their families in attendance today.

Jack Cooper Celebration of Life

This afternoon, I played the Scottish Highland bagpipes for Jack Cooper's Celebration of Life at First Baptist Church in Sunnyside, Washington.

I played Chrò Chinn t-Sàile, High In The Hills, and Lament for Red Iain while family and guests arrived.

Going Home was played as Jack's ashes were carried from the back to the front of the church.

Amazing Grace was played at the end of the service.

This sunny afternoon, I played the Scottish Highland bagpipes for Eilleen Jackson's Graveside Service at Sunset Gardens in Richland, Washington.

Chrò Chinn t-Sàile, Lament for Red Iain, and High In The Hills were played while waiting for family and guests.

When Irish Eyes Are Smiling and Going Home were played as family and friends walked to the gravesite.

Amazing Grace was played at the start of the service.

My Heart Will Go On was played as roses were placed on the casket and the casket was lowered.

The tunes played outdoors on the Highland bagpipes were: The Mallow Men March; Scotland the Brave; Murdo's Wedding; Kilworth Chapel; McGuire's Jig; Brooke and Bandit; Guiness Rambles; The Mill The Mill O'; The Bonnie Lass of Fyvie; Mrs. MacLeod of Rasaay; and The Silver Spear.

Then, for the Memorial, I played Danny Boy, Amazing Grace, Highland Cathedral, Going Home, and When Irish Eyes Are Smiling.

I played Going Home as the casket was carried from the hearse to the grave site.

"Pub" Crawl to Promote Prosser Scottish Fest

I played Scottish Highland bagpipes for a "Pub" Crawl throughout Prosser, Washington to promote the 21st annual Prosser Scottish Fest and Highland Games to be held on June 17. Vintner Village venues where pipes were played included Airfield Estates, Smasne Cellars, Wit Cellars, Milbrandt Vineyards, Thurston Wolfe, Martinez & Martinez Winery, and Cork and Taps by Domanico Cellars. The pipes were then played at Wine Country RV Park. Downtown Prosser venues where the pipes were played included The Prosser House, El Buen Gusto, Bill's Tasting Room, Bern's Tavern, Horse Heaven Saloon, and the streets of downtown Prosser.

I played Scottish Highland bagpipes this evening at The Bagpipe Bash in Quincy, Washington. The bash was a Robert Burns Dinner and Fundraiser to support the Quincy High School Choral and Theatre Departments. It was held in the Heritage Barn on the grounds of the Quincy Valley Historical Society & Museum.

I played Lord Lovat's March to lead the Parade Of The Haggis. Several jigs, reels, and marches were played as dinner was being served.

On this cold, snowy afternoon, I played the Scottish Highland bagpipes for Jeanne Dyke's Celebration of Life Service at the Yakima Country Club in Yakima, Washington.

The Wearin' O' The Green was played as family and guests arrived.

High In The Hills and Lament For Red Iain were played as the carriage carrying the remains made its way up the road.

As the remains were gathered and carried into the building, I played Danny Boy.

I played When Irish Eyes Are Smiling to start the indoor service.

College Place Fire Dept. Association Awards Banquet

I played Scottish Highland bagpipes for College Place, Washington fire fighters and their families at the College Place Fire Department Association Awards Banquet in Walla Walla, Washington. The banquet was held at the Courtyard by Marriott. I played many tunes and told stories about the tunes.
