Jack Hogan Jr. Memorial

On this beautiful morning, I played the Scottish Highland bagpipes for Jack Hogan Jr’s Memorial at Sunset Gardens in Richland, Washington. Chrò Chinn t-Sàile was played as guests arrived. Lament for Red Ian and Going Home were played to start the memorial, while Amazing Grace was played at the end. Highland Cathedral was played as guests departed.

Pete Aguirre Funeral and Graveside Service

July 06, 2020
I played the Scottish Highland bagpipes this morning for Pete Aguirre’s funeral at Smith Funeral Home in Sunnyside, Washington and graveside service at Outlook Cemetery in Outlook, Washington. Amazing Grace was played to end the funeral service. Going Home and Amazing Grace were played as the casket was lowered at the grave site.

John Villanueva Graveside Service

I played the Scottish Highland bagpipes this afternoon for John Villanueva’s graveside service at Desert Lawn Memorial Park in Kennewick, Washington. Lament for Red Ian, Lord Lovat's Lament, and Chrò Chinn t-Sàile were played as guests arrived at the grave site. Going Home was played as the casket was carried to the grave site. The Marine Corps Hymn and Amazing Grace were played to end the service.

Skweez The Weezle at Kimo's Sports Bar & Brewpub

I played Scottish Lowland bagpipes, octave mandolin, and whistles this evening with Celtic band
Skweez The Weezle at Kimo's Sports Bar & Brewpub in Richland, Washington. Even with the COVID-19 concerns and deteriorating weather, we had a nice crowd doing a lot of toe tapping and clapping along with the tunes and songs.

Ethel Graham Celebration of Life

I played Scottish Highland bagpipes this afternoon for Ethel Graham's Celebration of Life at First Baptist Church in Moses Lake, Washington. Going Home and Highland Cathedral were played as guests arrived at the church. I played Amazing Grace to lead the family into the service. Flower of Scotland was played at the end of the service.

Bruce Stutheit Funeral Service

This morning, I played Scottish Highland bagpipes for Bruce Stutheit's funeral service at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Richland, Washington. Lament for Red Ian, Lord Lovat's Lament, and Going Home were played as guests arrived at the church. I played Amazing Grace and Highland Cathedral to end the service.

Burns Night Dinner at the Plungs

January 25, 2020
I played the Scottish Highland bagpipes and penny whistle at the Plungs' 9th Annual Burns Night dinner this evening in West Richland, Washington.

I played a selection of tunes to start the evening off right. Tunes included Scotland the Brave, Murdo's Wedding, and Mrs. MacLeod of Raasay; Chrò Chinn t-Sàile and Welcome The Piper; Return From Glengarry; Amazing Grace; The Swallow Tail Jig, The Kesh Jig, and The Irish Washerwoman; and Lord Lovat's March and Loch Ruan.

The haggis was piped in and out with Jimmy Findlater.

A second set of pipe tunes consisted of Guinness Rambles and The Mill The Mill O'; Drops of Brandy and The Foxhunters Jig; and Farewell To the Tay and The Atholl Highlanders.

I played whistle to accompany the guests as they sang Loch Lomond, and Auld Lang Syne.

This afternoon, I played Scottish Highland bagpipes for Adrienne McAlpine's funeral service at the Hubbard-Rogg Funeral Chapel in Dayton, Washington. Lament for Red Ian and Chrò Chinn t-Sàile were played as guests arrived at the chapel. I played Going Home to start the service. I played Amazing Grace and Highland Cathedral to end the service.

Skweez The Weezle at The Bagpipe Bash

I played Scottish Highland bagpipes, Lowland bagpipes, smallpipes, and whistles this evening with Celtic band Skweez The Weezle at The Bagpipe Bash in Quincy, Washington. The bash was a Robert Burns Dinner and Fundraiser sponsored by Quincy Valley Allied Arts and Quincy Music Boosters. It was held in the Heritage Barn on the grounds of the Quincy Valley Historical Society & Museum. Funds were raised to support the Quincy High School Choral Spring Training Trip and Quincy Valley Allied Arts.
